Balboa Direct Shipping Policy

Order Processing:
Once your order has been accepted by us, it may take an additional 1-3 business days for your order to ship. Even if you request expedited overnight shipping, it may take us an additional day to process and pack your order before we actually ship it.

Orders are shipped on business days only. Business days are Monday through Friday (8:00am to 4:00pm), excluding major holidays within the United States.

What If A Product Is On Back Order?
Products that are out of stock at the time of your order are indicated on the website next to the product listing. The estimated shipping date is also noted. You may place an order for an out-of-stock item, but it will be placed on back order and shipped when it is received. Most back ordered items have an expected delivery date 15-20 business days from the time you placed your order.

Back orders will automatically be shipped when the product is back in stock unless otherwise canceled by us.

It is your responsibility to make note of any items that you place into your shopping cart that are on back order and select your shipping methods according to the back order expectation. Therefore, if you select UPS Next Day Air as a delivery option for a product that is on back order, that item will ship via UPS Next Day Air in 15-20 days when that item becomes available. Selecting UPS Next Day Air does NOT change the back order status of a product because you selected a next day delivery option. Once you place your order, the shipping option cannot be changed.

International Orders:
At this time, we accept orders from international customers who are shipping to addresses in the U.S. and Canada only. We are unable to ship to international APO or FPO addresses.

Delivery Information:
We use UPS for shipping with most orders shipped via UPS ground. Normal delivery times are between 5-9 business days. Items requiring oversized or overweight shipping may extend delivery times by one or two days. Orders may arrive in multiple packages and on separate days depending on type of and volume of product ordered. Order tracking information can be found in the "Order Status / Tracking" section of this site.

All orders will require signature confirmation of the delivery.

We are unable to ship orders to PO and APO boxes.

Larger orders that ship out of our warehouse on pallets will use alternate shipping methods such as Conway or other carriers. Additional delays of 1-2 days can be expected in preparing your order for delivery.

Shipping Methods and Costs:
48 Contiguous United States: All orders are shipped via UPS ground (normally 5 - 9 business days). You can expect your order to arrive within 5-9 business days from the time it ships. Business days are Monday-Friday, excluding U.S. major holidays.

Hawaii/Alaska: Orders shipping to Hawaii or Alaska can be expected to take additional time for delivery. Check with UPS for approximate delivery times for your area.

Canada: Orders shipping to Canada are generally shipped via UPS. However, since UPS does not deliver to all areas within Canada, they use third party companies to assist them in delivering products. Shipping times may vary and you may be required to pick up your package at a facility determined by UPS.

Shipping costs are calculated at the time of checkout using UPS ground rates. If you prefer, expedited shipping is available for an extra charge.

All orders require someone to be home to sign for the delivery. If UPS attempts delivery and you are not at the delivery location, they will leave a notice. It is your responsibility to follow up with them and request another attempt at delivery. Packages that are returned to Balboa due to failed delivery will be re-shipped at your expense.

Delivery Inspection:
It is your responsibility as the receiver to immediately inspect the merchandise that you receive from Balboa Direct. Report any damage to the carrier immediately and file any appropriate claim forms with the carrier if your products have arrived damaged. Balboa Direct will not replace or repair any products that are not immediately reported as damaged with the carrier. There will be no exceptions.

Method of Payment: accepts credit card payments only. All major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover are acceptable.

Special Delivery Items:
Some products on our website are noted as "Special Delivery". These are products that take a little extra time in being delivered to you. The estimated delivery time is noted next to each product.

Can you ship to another address?
Yes. When checking out you may specify another address to ship your products to.
