Balboa Direct Return Policy

BalboaDirect.com strives to provide the highest quality products on our Sites. Occasionally, there may be a need to return a product. If you do have to return a product within thirty (30) days of purchase, you must request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) approval from us prior to sending the product back.
Products without a prior RMA authorization from BalboaDirect.com , will not be accepted for return. Please fill out the form HERE and tell us what you are returning and why. We will follow-up with you within 2 business days to advise you of next steps.
When returning products here are a few things to keep in mind:
A return merchandise authorization number (RMA) must appear on the outside of all shipping cartons or on the shipping label. You are responsible for the cost of shipping your return product back to us. Include a copy of your sales receipt. Returned products must be received in the same condition it was delivered to you.
Products must have original packaging, warranty cards, instruction sheets, and ALL owners’ manuals to be returned - without this, they are not returnable.
Insure your return for the total value of your purchase as BalboaDirect.com is not responsible for damages incurred during transit.
Returns should be properly packaged and shipped prepaid via a traceable method. BalboaDirect.com is not responsible for lost or damaged returns.
Special order and custom manufactured products cannot be returned for refund, credit or exchange. Absolutely no refunds will be given on any electrical or electronic device, Spa controls, spa control systems, pumps, heaters, switches, o-rings, gaskets, nuts, screws, control panels or clearance items. If defective, they should be returned via the warranty claim process.
Occasionally mistakes do happen and if we send you the wrong part, we will send a return freight tag so that you may return the product. Once received and inspected, we will send an exchange part by UPS ground delivery.
If your product was damaged during shipment, you are required to notify UPS immediately and file a claim with them. You should also contact us immediately via email and provide us with the UPS claim number. Upon notification, BalboDirect.com will review the information provided and send out a replacement product at no additional charge to you.
Once your return is received and inspected by BalboaDirect.com (usually within 72 hours of receipt), your refund will be processed and your credit card will be credited the original price of the returned product(s) less original shipping costs within 7- 10 days. Please note that depending on your credit card company, it may take additional 2 - 10 business days after your credit is applied for it to post to your account.
General Returns:
Are subject to a 25% cancellation/restocking fee ($7.50 minimum) plus a $5 handling fee to cover packaging and restocking costs.
Part orders (such as screws, nuts, o-ring, gaskets, etc...) are not refundable.
Special order or custom made products such as heaters, switches, and control panels cannot be returned.
Any product cannot have been installed and must be in original packaging.
Products must be in original, salable condition without cosmetic or other damage.
Orders under $75.00 are not returnable.
Clearance Sale items are not returnable.
Defective items returned within 30 days will be replaced or repaired at our cost including shipping.
Handling and shipping charges are not refundable.
All returns require a RMA number.
After the first 30 days: Defective returns are subject to the product warranty and should be processed via the Warranty Claim Process.
